Concept: INTROVERT VS EXTROVERT
Inspired from nature such as small animal living underground and a humans needs for comfort and privacy during times of stress and tiredness this design serves as a one stop destination for those wanting a break from the hectic everyday life. The integration of enclosed and open spaces create a choice for people to either dwell in a “introvert space” or an “extrovert space”.The program being a library, contrasts with the strictly commercial surroundings and offers a space for working people as well as others to unwind and relax.
To execute the hanging structure and going down staircase leading to the cube, is a very complicated process. There are some technical drawings for the staircase to present it clearer.
